Graduation Ceremony! (Oct 2017)

We celebrated Hope School Graduation Ceremony on 23 October 2017. It was a time of rejoicing with the students as they graduated to next level. It was a great privilege to have an Education officer from Siem Reap to grace the event and encourage the students
We had prepared a special  Singapore drink, iced Milo (aka Milo Peng in Singapore)!!! This is a drink they had not tried before and the students thoroughly enjoyed the drink.
Thank you to our many Hope School donors! We were able to ensure that all who attended received a gift pack each, consisting of a folder with a pen, a mechanical pencil, a ruler, a 3-in-1 Milo sachet and 2 London roll buns.

Enthusiastic students! (November 2017)

We had classes  being conducted at both the new and old Hope School location. It is our prayer that we might be able to be a blessing to these students at Hope School. We, from Singapore, are humbled to be given this opportunity to be part of Hope School. We will continue to work together for a brighter future for these students at Hope School.

Hopefully, one day, these students will in return, be back at Hope School to teach and be a blessing to their own countryman.

A joy to be part of Hope School (December 2017)


It had been a joy to have friends like all of you, to journey with us through the work of Hope School. A little recap of what had happened for the whole year
a. We are now running 2 Hope Schools at different locations, the old Hope School and the new Hope School.
b. Thank God that through friends and relatives, we were able to build a permanent roof with concrete column and foundation. This new building had really provided us with the needed shelter as we had experienced first-hand, how bad it was when it really pours in Siem Reap.
c. Celebrated the 4th anniversary in Jun and now looking to the 5th anniversary in 2018 (half a decade!!)
d. 2 computer classes had been started this year, with the kind donation from our friends who gave us used laptops
e. Am really thankful to friends, colleagues who just suddenly approached me with donations for Hope School, without me asking for any!
f. Bought 2 solar lights (one for each school to try out) to see if it is useful at Hope School.
Many more memories, just that it will be no ending listing of what happens. Hope School existed not because of me but through the many supports by friends and relatives and most of all, by God’s grace. To God be the glory!

Happy New Year to all our friends!!!

New filters and signages.

The students are so happy to receive the new water filters. This enable them to have clean water drawn from underground. With this clean water, the teacher will be able to make hot drinks.
It may be a small contribution from us but there is a BIG effect on these students from Hope School.
